August Birthday Queens!

As I heard more about my mom's and grandma's birthday bash I decided that it was something that could not be missed. So with a little planning and a few phone calls, Kate and I were scheduled for a road trip to TN to meet up with my Aunt and Uncle and ride down to SC with them for the party. I ended up staying in Greenville for a few days for a visit and my mom drove me back up to TN later in the week to get my car.

An unexpected trip turned into a WONDERFUL time as Kate and I were able to visit with a lot of our family that we do not get to see all that often.

Our Visit in TN allowed us to spend time with our Uncle Ralph (my mom's brother) and Aunt Mary Eva. My cousins Anne and Eddie came over for a visit with their spouses and we got to see John (Anne's little boy who is about 3 weeks older than Kate) and Kate play together. It was great to get caught up on life!

Heading down to SC was a great trip and the birthday party was so much fun! We had over 30 family and friends meet up at my grandma's nursing home in NC to celebrate. These two women are so important to me, I am so thankful to have them in my life. I love you both so much! Happy Birthday! My grandmother turned 89 years old! At the party I also got to meet the newest addition to the family, Will Howell, my cousin Jack and wife Joy just had their first little one a few months back.

August birthdays also included my cousin Ashleigh and soon to be cousin in law, Leann (these are cousins on Bo's side of the family) so we gathered together at Aunt DeeDee and Uncle Dave's house to celebrate.

We were able to also spend time with my in-laws as they let us crash at their house for the week...they are GREAT! We enjoyed our time just being in their home and spending time with them.
