Our first family vacation with Kate was a week at Garden City with my parents, Caroline and her boyfriend, Zach. My parents rented a house next to several houses that their friends from church rented. We had a great time. Dave golfed everyday, Kate played on the beach for the first time, we shopped at Broadway, had a great visit with my rommie from college Kel and a surprise visit from my 4th grade best friend, Beth, and her little girl, Rose. Beth was another daughter to my parents and practically lived at our house growing up...it was great to see her! What a wonderful week!
Kate's first time at the beach and seeing the ocean...she really did not know what to think...at first she was scared but by the next day when we were playing in it she LOVED it!
