So, I was talking to my neighbor the other day and she was telling me how her 5 year old had to dress up as a character from her favorite book for book day next week. So, Carmen will be dressing up as Bell since that is her current favorite Disney book. This got me thinking...Kate's favorite book these days is one called Jingle Bells...so if we were in school I would make her an outfit with bells attached to it...wouldn't the teachers just love me!! Anyways...it is so funny to think about what your child is into and how quickly it changes...however, we are are going on two weeks now with having to read/sing jingle bells to Kate at least 30 times per day...she just loves it! So, here are my questions for you moms:
1) what would you have to dress your child up as?
2) what has been the one thing that makes you laugh that your child insists on doing over and over and over and over?

Okay, so McKinley's new favorite book is snowmen at night, so we would be a snowman for halloween. OR her Daddy and me book that you lift objects to see what is hiding, and then she would be a handyman. Very cute Brooke! Whaty she does over and over now is say "BYE" really loud and often, after we leave the room, the tv show ends, we put her to bed, etc. It is quite amusing!!!
too cute les...don't you just love them! Funny how both of our girls are into christmas books...out of 18 books on the shelf she will always pick out the Jingle Bell book...I think it is b.c we sing it to her...and she loves to dance! have a great friday!
We have the traditional favorites...Brown Bear, Brown Bear...so she could be any animal and it would make her happy! As far as what she's doing over and over, it would be her animal sounds like tiger, cow, horse, sheep, and turkey. Too much fun!!!
Allie would definitely be Dora! She loves any Dora book. Right now, her favorite Dora book is "Dora's Spooky Halloween." What does Allie do over and over- she wants to sing her "Grey Squirrel" song from school. She likes to "swish her flyffy tail" like it says in the song.

Hey Brooke- Bella would have to be a dog, because she LOVES dogs & any book that has them in it. And everytime she is in our bathroom she cries for a toothbrush- she wants to put it in her mouth, pretend she's brushing!
Hey Brooke! Well MacKenzie would definitely have to dress up like Princess Aurora (a.k.a Sleeping Beauty). She loves the movie, the book, and anthing that has her on it. Mason would probably be either Elmo or the Clemson Tiger. He loves all his Elmo books, but he has two Clemson books that we read all the time, and he loves pointing to all the "Paw-Paws" (his word for Tiger Paw)!
MacKenzie just wants to watch Sleeping Beauty over and over and over...Mason is in this phase where he says "I got it" over and over again. Anytime he "gets" anything whether it's his blanket or cup or anything, he yells "I got it" and he wants you to repeat it and then he'll say it again. It's so funny.

Ella would have to be Hannah Montanta- I don't understand her obsession with her though because I don't let her watch the show. It just shows how much of an influence friends can have, even at 5 years old. Brett would be Superman or SPiderman and Luke would be any kind of FOOD!
