Surprise for Daddy's Girls

Friday night Dave called and instructed me to pack our bags that he was taking us on a surprise day trip for us all. I was so excited and could not wait to see where we were going. We started driving south and ended up at Isle of Palms County Park...it was wonderful! A three hour drive and we were at the beach! Kate has been asking to go to the beach for about six months now and I could not wait to see her face and see how calla reacted to the beach! The facility was wonderful...showers, bathrooms, playground, picnic tables, rentals, concessions, everything we needed...for only $7 to park! Kate was so excited when we held her up on the boardwalk and she saw the beach...she was speechless! Both girls LOVED the water and the sand. They both constantly kept running back into the water to jump the waves and Calla became very focused on putting her sand in her bucket...they were so cute. I have to say that this was on of my top 10 days of my life! After the beach we cleaned up and met my college roommate, Kelly, and her new man, Jamie, out for some seafood...it was so good to see them! What a wonderful day and as we drove home God painted the most beautiful sunset! Thank you Dave for a PERFECT day!
