Jam Packed Weekend!

This weekend was so much fun and so busy! The girls and I headed down to Greenville on Thursday and met my mom out for some toys r us shopping and dinner before heading to my in-laws to get settled in. Dave came in town that night for a long weekend. Friday, I got some R & R with a little time to get my hair done then Edie and I headed out to get the final things for the birthday party on Sunday. Dave got to play some golf with his dad and then we headed out for a date night on Friday (we saw the Social Network, which we really enjoyed!) Saturday morning Edie and I headed out for some yard sales (I got a full Santa suit (almost new) and 8 brand new Christmas wreaths for $13)...I guess Christmas is in the air! I thought the Santa suit would be great for some pictures...now to convince someone to dress up in it. The we headed to my sister's Kitchen Shower and had a wonderful catching up with some great friends...she got lots of wonderful things!

Saturday afternoon I got the opportunity to take maternity pictures of my sister-in-law and her husband as they prepare for the arrival of their first little one in mid-November. I can't wait to meet my niece!

Sunday Kate celebrated her 3rd birthday! We woke her up singing Happy Birthday and Grandma fixed her birthday muffins. We let her blow candles out throughout the day, since that is one of her favorite things about birthdays! Then it was PARTY time! Kate has asked for the past 6 months to ride a horse for her birthday and so her wish was granted. We found a sweet couple that has ponies that agreed to let us come out to their farm and see the animals and ride the pony...it was absolutely PERFECT!

After the pony ride we headed over to Dan and Edie's for a WONDERFUL backyard birthday party for Kate (Oct. 10), Dave (Oct. 12), & my brother in law Brandon (Oct. 15). Thank you Edie for all you did to get things together for a great birthday celebration!

Dave headed back to Fort Mill on Sunday night and the girls and I stayed an extra day to visit with some Lexington, KY friends who were in town.

We met up with Brooke and her girls on Monday morning, headed out to the Greenville Zoo, had lunch a Dukes Sandwich Shop, tried to get five little girls to take a nap in one hotel room, headed downtown Greenville to the Falls and then to Moe's for dinner...It was such a fun day...Kate kept saying all day, "Mom, that was fun, I love Reagan and Caroline".

We put PJs on and headed back home to be there the next morning for Dave's 32nd Birthday!

For Dave's birthday I surprised him by getting a babysitter for the girls (thanks so much Kim for watching them) and when he got home last night we went out for Sushi to celebrate! Happy Birthday my sweet Hubby!
