Happy Birthday Ashton

Our next door neighbor (who Kate and Calla love so much...and is our babysitter), Ashton, had her big 15th birthday and celebrated with a trip down to Charleston. However, when Kate saw the balloons on her mailbox and I told her it was Ashton's birthday, she asked if she could go to her birthday party. I tried to explain that Ashton did not have a birthday party but a birthday adventure...she just did not understand and still asked if she could go to the party. So, we brought Ashton a birthday party with yummy red velvet w/peppermint cream cheese icing (from honeycombs cookies) and candles to blow out. We greeted her at the door singing and the girls assisted in blowing out the candles. We "love doing life" with our sweet neighbors and were so glad we got to go to Ashton's birthday party!
