Love Doing Life Together: Edson Cousin Reunion 2008

The RSVPs were in and the day had arrived...the 2nd Annual Edson Cousin Reunion was finally here! Last year Dave and I hosted the first get together and we all promised to make it an annual event. Dave's cousins (on his mom's side) were very close growing up...although they mainly saw each other once a year at the Edson Reunions in Michigan...and after Pete's wedding we all decided to start the reunion tradition again. Last year was a blast and this year served up to be one that created a lot of lasting memories. Although some that made it last year were unable to attend and vice versa it was great to catch up with everyone. This year Dave's brother and family from Houston, TX were able to come and his cousin Nikki (who lives in Paris) joined us. Everyone else joined us for a second time around (a Chicago group, two groups from Michigan, and Dave's sister and hubby from Greenville).

The weekend was packed with lots of food, boardgames, RipStick (a two wheeled skateboard), slip and slide, golf games, baseball, pool, guitar hero (which my nephews are experts at...WOW), food and lots of time just hanging out....and did I mention food. It was great! We can't wait till next year!
