A bedtime routine for us is to pick out a few books, crawl into the chair in Calla's room together, blankets in hand, and just read together as we unwind from our day. Kate usually picks out the books and always "surprises" us with Calla's favorite, "My pretty Kitten." After the last "the end" is read, we turn off the lights, each girls takes her blanket to their face, put their thumbs in their mouths and we "rock-a-rock" as mom sings "Jesus Loves Me". We have many versions of the song as we replace "me" with our names, they love it when we sing, "Jesus loves Kate & Calla". You can hear Kate singing along and Calla getting the tune of the song...it is priceless moment every night. Then we tuck Calla into bed, then Kate climbs into bed, we say our prayers, "Dear Jesus, we come to you tonight......amen", we snug as a bug in a rug, go through at least one question Kate has and then say our good nights with a little kiss. Night Night, Night Night.
