Many pictures capture the fun events of today...I could not pick just one.

Although two were missing, these are the sweet ladies that God has given to me through MOPS this year. We all enjoyed getting to know each other and our stories as we learned great "mommy tips", learned new craft ideas and listened to the highs and lows of other mom's journey through this season of our lives as Moms.

Dave took the day off for some down time and while working in the yard he found a fun surprise to show the girls...a box turtle. They LOVED it! It was crazy b/c when Kate started singing to it it poked it's head out to see her and kept it out as both girls talked to him and fed him grass from the yard. Calla was so sweet saying "tutul" and Kate named him Tuck from Wonder Pets. In case you are wondering we do not have a new pet, we sent the turtle on it's way home to go "night night".

For Christmas Caroline and Zach gave us a "weekend away" and they would keep the girls for us. So they arrived Friday night and we all were so happy to see them.

Before we headed out of town we took Caroline out for her birthday at one of our favorite restaurants, the fish market. It was great to celebrate her and to go out with them as a married couple...a great double date!
