New Seasons of Life

Wow, 2010 has been a month and a half of all types of emotions with the close of one season of our lives and the open of a new.

Dave has accepted (and has been working for the past month) a new position with a new company, SnapAV. It is amazing to see God's hands work through this easy next step in Dave's career and our lives. We put our house one the market in September, not really knowing what or where things would go, but felt God was telling us it was the right thing to do. Then one day in November Dave received an email with a job position listed from a friend that was the perfect fit for his experience and knowledge...and it was located in Charlotte NC...an hour and a half from family! So, after a long interview process, Dave was offered the position and everything from that point on has been a whirl wind...the month of January Dave finished is work with Elan, we packed our house up and Dave moved to Charlotte to start his new job. I stayed back and finished the last of the packing (with the help of my mom) and said some very sad goodbyes to my wonderful friends in Kentucky and we have moved home to SC to my family's basement while we wait for the house to sell in Kentucky and then we will start looking for our new home in the Charlotte area.

We are getting settled in and enjoying out time with family and our weekends with Dave during this transition...plus Dave and I get a date night during the week...we meet half way...while the girls get some time with their grandparents.

Please pray for us as we wait patiently as our family is separated...that we can focus on each day and the people God has surrounded us with...

To our Kentucky family...we miss you so much already...thank you all for EVERYTHING!
